Gene Xcellence is dedicated to empowering teens and young adults to discover their dream careers and learn essential life skills to reach their full potential, build their confidence and achieve economic mobility in their adult lives.
Our vision is to bridge the opportunity and achievement gap for teens and young adults in the Upstate of South Carolina.
Found in 2020 to provide our students with the opportunity to reach their full potential, strive in their careers and become better versions of themselves through adulthood.

Career & College Readiness (CCR)
We equip students with the academic, professional, and real‑world tools they need to confidently navigate their next steps after high school. Through guided exploration, skill‑building, and personalized planning, we help them envision and pursue meaningful postsecondary pathways.

Self-Awareness & Life Skills
We empower teens and young adults to understand who they are, what they value, and how they can thrive in any environment. By strengthening emotional intelligence, communication, and decision‑making skills, we prepare them to lead with confidence and resilience.

We create access where barriers exist by connecting students to resources, mentors, and experiences that expand their horizons. Our programs ensure every learner—regardless of background—has the support and opportunities needed to succeed.
